I've always enjoyed reading the Proud Papa Post's and watching dad's taking there son or daughter's fishing. Today I got to experience that first hand:meme: I took my son up to Merwin today and had and absolute blast!! He reeled in 3 of the 6 we landed today and already wants to go back tomorrow for more :D. And now for the pic's .....

Good. that is awesome. If it wasn't for his mother it would have been a year ago but I do think at 3 they can do it. Course each kid is different. He's been around Salmon and Tuna quite a bit just never on the boat with me until now! I think I see a Coho in his near future

Jimmy, man I'm not kidding. I let him do that for like 5 min or so. He would turn one way then I would tell him turn the other way (to correct the direction) and we had 2 strike's that didnt stick. Yes, trolling for Koke's I alway's do a little zig zag as it's always worked well for me but it was great to see the look on his face when I'd jump up for the rod that was getting bit while he was driving :thisbig:

That kid looks like he was born to be on a boat and fishing. Looks right at home. Great pics!

I cant even explain the way he understands things like, reel slow, pull up reel down, clear the deck, get the net, hold the fish closer to me while I take your picture with the fish ....... Just awesome:thisbig:

It doesn't get any better. Thanks for sharing your day.
Those are fantastic. I agree with the boat driving picture... you can just see this guy at age 23,33,43... Natural.
PS. Careful with your keys! :) I have a young fisherman and when it is going it is a circus. Hate for them to go over the side!

Something to be very proud of, the fish and your son. Keep it up,they grow up quick mine is almost 21 and I don't get to fish with him as much now that he has his own life that keeps him buisey, but the days like you just had are my best memories and seem like yesterday. :applause:
