Try casting a spinner out as far as possible, let it sink for several minutes, its very deep. retrieve slowly, get ready for a heart attack. Castmaster, Blue fox, Panther Martin. :thisbig: Or fish the East end with a bubble and fly. :meme:

The guy in the photo was useing powerbait just letting it float up off the bottom. To me I think as long as you can figure out where the fish are, then pretty much anything will work.

Our cub scout den was there last Saturday along with what seemed to be several thousand other folks. We fished all morning and saw no action. Probley scared all the fish to the center of the pond. It was like fishing at a rock concert. I will never do that again.

I would love to see osp crack the whip on some of the people that go fish there. I have seen guys fish with two rods witch to me isnt cool what so ever. The last time I was there it took all I had to not go over and say a few things to a guy that keept casting ontop of my line. To me it seemed like hes was trying to drive me out of my spot. I have learned for the next time I go there I will try not to catch anything so then I dont have to worry about all the vulchers. Well other than the punks it was a good time.

It's sad to see people fish with multiple rods, when easy limits can be reached with just 1 rod.

I used to live next to reynolds middle school, which is right behind salish pond. There was this guy that lived a few apartments down from me that would walk by my house probably 3-5 times a week with 3-5 rods all setup with a slip sinker and treble hook. Sometimes he would come home with a stringer FULL of stocker trout. The metal kind with giant snaps and each snap had 2 or 3 fish on it.

i grew up fishing there since i was 6 or 7, back when there was pretty much only bluegils in there and maybe only 4 people fishing the whole pond but now its jam packed with people
