Its red hot, and I need more fishers here. 17yrs and under, and holders of any on of Oregons handicapped fishing permits only.
Pautzkes under a bobber, sz 10 red egg hook, small float. Instnt action for the kids and handicapped. Fish were stocked this morning on top of an already well stocked pond. Come on down! :meme:
The bigger ones wont last long :thisbig:

I took my daughter down there for a afternoon line soak in between rain squalls last week. Man!! Them Latino kids shure are big these days.

Just wanted to throw out a BIG Thank You to Mitch and all others that made the Canby pond what it is this year.
I had never been there before and last night I decided to take my Three year old and nine year old. (Jake and Griff). We had a blast using small baits, light leaders fished bellow a small, small bobber as well as fished on the bottom w/ a sliding sinker. The guy's got bit with everything we threw at um including Patzkie eggs, Power Bait, Gulp eggs and even a good old worm.
The boy's ended up with their limits and had a great time doing it. If you have kids and want to show them a good time take them to the Canby pond.....

Is there some sort of donation box or somewhere to send donations? We're planning on taking our 6 yr old grandson out there in the near future but I'm sure there are some costs being incurred on the part of Mitch and others. I know its free but...

Morning update:
I just checked the pond. There is a feeding frenzy going on. There is a hatch of bugs, not sure what they are but the trout like them. Saw schools of trout swimming by the shore. I even saw two smaller Largmouth bass on a nest. That's good to see I thought they were all taken out by the trout fisherman last year. No sign of the 5 lbrs this year.
There is only one handicaped angler there this morning. Come on down with the kids and say high to Larry.:)
