Just picked this up this week. She spent the last 20 years in New Mexico so rot isn't an issue but I want to redo the floors, Cuddy interior, outer wood could use a re-varnish, a bit of the electrical needs upgrading and the fiberglass coated hull needs a sand and paint too.

Was looking for info on whom to contact locally for the supplies and know-how of refurbishing a boat like this.

I intend to DIY as much as possible.

Outboard is a 1965 6 cylinder 90hp Merc. Clean as a whistle and runs great but if you know someone who knows this era engine in and out I would appreciate it.

Thx_

Matthew,

Do I understand correctly that it's basically a wooden boat that has a fiberglass coat over the outside? If so, WoodenBoat.com has an excellent forum that you can search and get lots of information. You can also find quite a few good books on the subject. I'm no expert, but I'm building my 2nd wood boat (26' inboard) and I'd be happy to try and help with specific questions if you want to pm me.
