Up North there is Tacoma Propeller. They will repair/rebuild your propeller for a reasonable charge. Anyone in the Portland area do this?

I have a 13X14 stainless steel propeller that I damaged and I'd like to have it repaired in the next week or so.

AMPRO in Clackamas.

They do a GREAT job just make sure you pick it up in a reasonable amount of time as they sell off "abandon" props.:twocents:

Sheffeild Marine would be your nearest at Delta Park. Ampro specializes in light boats(under 10 ton)

I never had them fix a prop but I did have them weld some bow rails for me.
Their work is top notch and the price was good.
They use to take care of all North Rivers after market stuff or if a boat had a weld that needed to be fixed.

dont use ampro for props unless you know what you want. they are no good at helping you with the right one to get otherwise. dont take there advise without bringing some salt.

I've dropped it off at Sheffield Marine in Delta Park. It is supposed to be ready on Friday.

What was the estimate?

I picked it up on Friday. It looks like new. I paid $110 for the repair. They straightened, welded on some material to put it back in shape, balanced and painted it factory black. My prop is stainless steel so that is more expensive to repair than aluminum. I had called a couple places and they all wanted $100-$150 to do the work.

Now I want to find a less expensive aluminum prop to keep as a spare.

I think he wanted a repair. I would not ask them what prop to put on my motor either, go to a dealer.

That seems like a fair price. The cost of a new ss prop will cost about 400. I hope I don't have to repair mine ever.
