Looking at an 18 foot Bayliner(1968) that has an offshore bracket on it. Boat came from the factory with this installed and since I have never seen this on older bayliners wondering if this was an idea that didnt work out. Does anyone out there have any experience with this on a bayliner.
Didn't know they did factory offshore brackets in 1968...
Hey...the boat is from 1968....it still floats, right? 40 years old.... Can't really say it didn't work, can you? Maybe it was just way ahead of its time.
What does someone want for a 1968 Bayliner anyway?

Well it looks like a fiberglass engine bracket I saw on an older whaler. Ive seen a lot of Bayliners over the years and this is first with that on it. Guys asking 1500 with a 1990ish 115 Evinrude and a 15 kicker. Kinda interesting with it having a full transom. Lot of room for an 18'.
