Found cool 1994 25' C-Hawk Sport Cabin for a good deal, had hard time finding info as company seems to be done making boats. I think there is wood construction sandwiched with glass and are supposed to be commercial "tough" but hoping to find someone who knows a little more...Also boat has 200hp oceanrunner Johnson with 750 hrs, not familiar with this engine, do all my fishing in the salt, thanks for any help...

quasi commercial roots hull from south carolina , I have never riddden on one - but know those who have - I have crawled all over them in Ohio tho.
Sort of a poor mans parker, stout with a rolled gunnel and textured paint or gelcoat interior, some of them had hull liners w fancy gelcoat. The house is fairly far fwd and the V is not so great so it maximizes fishing room and space but gives up a bit in ride. the minimal V does make them easy to power. I think they have a good rep and were a good value. with the wood I would get a competent survey.
The Ocean runner is pre-ficht 2 stroke technology. I am not high on that, but hey if it gets you into boat and you can eventually do a repower, it might work out well.

Latest info I have heard on C-Hawk is the operation is for sale, has been for awhile, currently not producing any boats. Solid glass hull I believe, wood transom and stringers. Most reports i have heard say the construction is solid, finish is not high grade but not meant to be.
Its a no frills fishing platform, huge deck, small cabin. Most have a very low dead rise at the stern, around 10 degrees, not my idea of an offshore boat. The 25's have a 9'6" beam, permit required to trailer. Not many on the west coast, plenty of c-hawk info the east coast boating sites.

over width permit is needed to tow it on the highway, maximum width is 8'6"
