I am looking to do a spiral wrap on a glass rod for trollin for kokes, it is actually an 8 weight, but it is limp so I figured it'd be a fun trolling rod. I wanted to make it a baitcaster, but i kinda want to try doing a spiral wrap. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Lots of ways to do a spiral wrap - none of them are wrong, some better than others. With a long noodle rod like that you could do several transition 60 and 120.
Normally I do only one transition guide and start with a spinning rod layout for that lenght rod than do your static testing or story pole

I have never aspired to spell and can only make a sheepish attempt at edumaction. Length langth, lungth  I wrote the book on misused words - I'll have to tell you about an essay question on an Accounting exam some time - Professor read my answer in class, it was sort of embarrassing how I misused the word "Tests", especially to the cute young women I was sitting next to in class at the time. Just go add an extra "E" and I think you will get what I mean.

Personally, I never trust a person who can only spell a word one way, (Thank you Mark Twain, or Will Rogers, or whoever it was first uttered that thought)

Depending the set up you may have to use a high frame butt guide to keep the line off the your hand/grip/blank. 15 inches in front of the reel face is where I'd try first, than change as needed to what you like. Than go up 8 inches and put the guide rotated to the 180 position. Than space the rest as if it was a spinning or fly rod. Now put a guide half way between the butt and next guide and string you reel and line through your guides. Bend and unbend the rod and rotate this last guide a bit to center it up to the line and minimize any side tension on the guide and your ready to wrap.
