I have a sled with an out board motor that has sat in the garage for one year + that had Stabil in the fuel. I went last week and filled it up with gas and went to run it in the river. Started good and and ran well for a few minutes and them started missing.....under full throttle was very noticable. Question is shoudl I drain the fuel tank or will it be ok like it is??

Drain the carbs first, then let us know.
How old are the plugs?

Might very well be water in the fuel due to half full tank condensing all winter.
Might try siphoning off the first few gallons and disposing of it.
That should get the water off the bottom. The rest should just burn off w/ time.
Also install a water seperating fuel filter...or change it if it has one already.
Might also try and store the tank full next time, they condense less that way. Empty is worst.
Good luck.

The plugs are old also.....I'll drain the water sep and the carb and give that a try. Also think I'll just siphon off the gas!

May need to change the fuel/water separator (if you have one). Then run it! :twocents:
