View Full Version : T8 thermostat

Not to sound too dumb, but where is the thermostat located on my T8? Just got my new Tstat, and went to look for the housing but it isn't obvious. Of course it is pouring buckets right now so I didn't look for long.
Anyway, I hope it quits raining by tomorrow and I get a chance to put the new one in. Nice to have a quick warm up again - and warm water for the hand washing!

Never mind - puled the starter cover and sure enough there was the thermostat housing. All done and looking forward to some heat!

Here's a parts diagram that show the location of the thermostat on a 2006 or newer T8 - locate part number 6



EDIT: Just realized the diagram had a copyright on it so I deleted it.

I already had another without a copyright logo that I could have posted but since the OP had already found the location of the thermostat, I didn't see the need.

I stand corrected. But if there web page allow there
Diagrams to be printed out and is not blocked from copying or download use.
There allowing the use of the information.
Copy right rules are in place to prevent some one from using someones Else's idea for profit.

My reply was not a correction to your statement, rather a explanation as to why I deleted the picture. I agree 100% with your copyright rules interpretation but as long as the Ifish AUP is what it is, I will comply.

I did not see What you posted. But the only thing that is really copy
righted would be there banner name.
