Okay, here it is. Pink and White Bunny Jigleech.

Some might say this is cheating. This is an untested fly - got the idea from an article by Lenox Dick and Tom Wood in the December-January 2003 issue of Salmon, Trout Steelheader.

Pink and White Bunny Jigleech.

Hook: 1/0 short shank jig hook, heavy
Weight: 035 lead wrapped
Tail: White Bunny Strip
Body: Fluorescent pink kyrstal chenile - medium.
Wing: White Bunny Strip
Eyes: Medium dumbbells - silver
Head: Fluorescent pink kyrstal chenile - medium
Thread: Pink, heavy monocord

Dead drift. Use a #4 corky as strike indicator, floating line. Try a glo-bug on a dropper as a trailing fly.

Please let me know if you have success with this.

Navigator....I like the look of that fly! If you ever fish the Alaska Peninsula for big Rainbows, take some of those along. I think they would be deadly

Thanks everyone. I only fished this fly once - for an hour or so on Eagle Creek in March last year under ideal (higher, steelhead green) conditions. No luck.

But, hey that is winter steelheading. I plan to give it another try on a south coast river in mid-February. Will post results.

Look good to me.
Dancing under a bobber, oops, I mean a strike indicator, those should be killers.
