Skiing into a friend's cabin in Washington with my sweetheart to celebrate our anniversary. Be back in a few days when the rivers drop. Aside from tying flies and reliving Greenbutt's birthday prank, how are the rest of you passing the time?
Let's set a date for the next Crooked Rendevouz soon, March is filling up.

John,
sounds like a very cool way to spend the anniversary with the wife. You two enjoy it, and a congrats on another year of married life.
Take some pics, we may want to check it out too.
Take care,
GBS

"Riding out the Storm" Wasn't that the name of a song by the Doors?

Reo Speedwagon... oh yeah! At least they weren't Loverboy. Just got back from a couple nights alongside Trapper Creek, a wild steelhead spawning trib of the Wind River. No electricity, no kids, no Janet Jackson's... . Just the sound of the river, the falling snow and the four of us... mi espousa, myself, Thomas McGuane and Ben Hur Lampman.
Anybody know anything about the Wind River? Looked like some gorgeous water on the way up to Oldman Pass.
