i just noticed an older looking, light weight, all aluminum fly reel in my fishing closet. it says lord weldon, and it's about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. it has what appears to be some old braided type of line on it. i have no idea where i got this reel or how long i've had it. do any of you guys know if this might be collectible or something to hold on to?

Lord Weldon? Is'nt that a character from the
last lord of the rings movie. Does he make a reel.
Sounds cool I've never hear of it, check ebay maybe.

What else ya got in that closet? Maybe that could be our next Ifish flyfish gettogether. Show some videos, have some pizzas delivered... all in the comfort of WMB's fishing closet.

thanks for the replies guys. since this reel is in good condition and may be worth $50, it's probably worth hanging on to.
ahh...the old fishing closet  a few years back i rounded up all my fishing gear that was spread out through out the house and garage and took over a spare closet so it would all be in one place. now i don't even know what all i've stuck in there!
please excuse the one handed typing. i finally had that surgery done - OUCH!!! it will be a while until i can hold a rod again.

Is this like the tooth fairy, except it's the reel fairy? Can we order up specific reels to be left in our closets, or do we just have to take whatever the reel fairy leaves?
