Does anyone have any good reccomendations for a beginners fly fishing book? I've heard the Curtis Creek Manifesto is decent. Any thoughts or any thing better?

There are a couple "Idiots Guides To" on fly fishing that are pretty good. A few videos come to mind but can't think of the titles right now.

There was a great hardback book put out by Orvis. I can't remember the exact name, but it was written by Tom Rosenbauer I believe.

I don't see it in my personal fishing books, so it's probably still out on loan to someone.

Also, if you need some help with your casting, the Mel krieger videos are very good.

I used to have one of his videos too, but can't find it either. I guess I better stop loaning stuff out.

This is a very good one:

The Orvis Flyfishing Guide (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0941130924/qid=1074269598/sr=1-5/ref=sr_1_5/103-7816063-2269434?v=glance&s=books)

The first fly fishing book I purchased was "LL Beans Fly fishing for beginners". Its a great book for beginners, and it covers every topic you will need!
