Has anyone been up to Suttle recently? I've signed up for the Kokanee Class that Moknots is giving on april 18. I'd thought to bring my boat and camper and stay at the Link Creek Campground, but if the ramp is still snowed in or the campsite isn't open and snow free, maybe I'd better just do a day trip in the car. Can anyone help me out here with a condition report? Thanks,
db
I too plan on the camping thing but it will be a decision to make that week. Right now there is a lot of snow especially under the trees in the campground, but 2-3 weeks can make a big difference.

I plan on stopping by Suttle Lake next week on the way to lbc. I can take some photo's of the campground and boat launch at Suttle Lake and post them next Sunday.

As of last week there was around 18 inches in the campgrounds and on the ramp. It is melting slowly. The ramp should be open by then but I don't know about the campground at the south end. The others usually don't open until May. I will keep checking it and keep you posted. I will look at it again this coming Monday.

Thanks Arnie, but my tent has an engine and wheels with a boat behind. All I need is a wide spot in the road.

Oh, I can only dream :D
I too am curious to know when the snow is clear, and the current water temp!
