You and me both. If you find a fly or technique out please let me know. I'm frustrated beyond belief.

Really? Small egg patterns and purple body/pink head egg sucking leeches have been working for us.
when the water is clear and low, small black fly patterns work on the coho in Eagle Creek. Indicator tactics are the way to go, unless there are a bunch of coho in a nice flowing run where you can swing an egg-sucking leech or dark wooly bugger in front of them. I usually use a few split shot about 10 inches up the line to get it down to their depth.
Somedays they just don't seem willing to hit anything...

Plug your ears fly fishing purists! I use egg sucking leeches or small glo-bug egg patterns. I have been known to add a couple drops of Mike's glo-scent (egg flavored of course) to the fly (I feel the cringes)

Dead drift tailouts the dump into deeper holding water for egg patterns. Swing riffles and tailouts with leeches. For the egg patterns, I usually use a typical nymphing set-up with shot and an indicator. Good chance of hookin a 'nook that way as well - especially on the Sandy.
