Report - Long Lake, Wallowa Mtns

God's Country!

If your up to a 12 mile or so hike with 3000+ ft of elevation gain, head to Long Lake. The scenery - absolutely amazing. The fishing - great. 12"-15" brookies hungry and fightin' hard. They were hitting terrestrials and anything brown. Evening fishing produced 20 fish in less than an hour...Hope everyone else had a great Labor Day.

always wanted to fish out there. So fun to catch dumb fat and eager brookies in that environment.
They are so beautiful too. Thanks for the report,
now I can dream of the place.
