View Full Version : Orange and Kavorkian purple Apex?

Has anyone heard that these two colors will be discontinued? Sportco Outdoor Emporium lists them as discontinued. Neither Kokaneemart or Steve's fishing supplies lists them. The only place I found the flame orange was at The Fisherman's Friend and it is listed as a special color along with other colors I have never seen before.
I guess I had better stock up as these are a favorite color of mine.

Thanks for the update FRG! The Hot Spot web site doesn't show them now. It doesn't make sense that they would discontinue those particular ones.:shrug:

I have now; but did notice a few days ago stocking up on a few seps items, there were no Orange apex! And I was almost in tears when I lost the last one!!!!!!!

Isn't Kavorkian behind bars? Or did they release him?

Some of us that don't live right next to the Willamette and Columbia don't have that luxury. It also helps if one gets an invitation to fish for Jerry. :wink:

I was noticing at Sportsmans the other day that there were less solid color Apex and more UV style. It would appear this is a trend.

Here is an email I received from Hot Spot:
Perhaps Outdoor Emporium has discontinued them but we have not, nor the Doom/Kevorkian. Other dealers will continue to stock them. Regards, Malcolm.

Last summer at Detroit Lake the chartruce down the middle apex with a rainbow colored power bait nugget outfished all my other trolling rigs at least 5 to 1.
