Dan,

A hour before sunrise and a half hour after sunset be sure to be on the water trolling the shoreline in 15ft of water with a J-13 rainbow rapala.

Jigging and trolling should be productive that time of year. Getting to the right depth is important for kokanee, and downriggers help. If you have the time, go back through the past reports. There's a wealth of information there.

For some rainbows, try eggs or a pea-sized ball of Powerbait fished on light line right off the bottom. Along the shoreline on the opposite side of the cove from the resort can be a good area. You probably won't have to be in too deep of water either. Good luck!

For Kokanee, just find the fleet and do what they are doing! In the early spring, the Kokanee are around 30' deep for trolling or jigging. They can also be on the bottom too!

I will be up there that same weekend. I have not fished that lake since I was a little kid and I am hoping to hook up into some kokes, browns and rainbows. Just wanted to renew this post and maybe glean some info on the brown fishing.
