Hey guys I am going to be fishin 10 mile this weekend and was wonderin if any one know the temp of the water and what waters i should be fishin and what would be good to use this time of the year. Never been there before, so any help is good. thanks!

We have had a lot of rain lately and it's suppose to rain this weekend also. Water is high, water is cold, low to mid 40's. Water is clear. Fishing is slow.

I believe the ABA tourney is next weekend (3/28).....

I just checked and it was last wknd (3/14). 26 boats, 20lbs took it, $2112 for the winners.

The water temp was 48-49 in the morning last weekend, not low 40's. It might even be 50 by saturday?? The fishing was not great but there was several limits caught. We had 5 bites and got 3 in the boat. I fish with Emerald Bass Club and we will be there this weekend. We have ten boats going. Tenmile soaks up 40 boats pretty easy so it wont be that bad.

Ya i have a tourney there too. I have never been there before and everyone else in the club has, prob going to get stomped :(

There are very key locations on the tenmiles this time of year. With a lot of boats the best spots are taken quickly. I can gaurantee you Chris caught his fish in a small area. To win you have to fish those locations, if you just want to just catch some fish pick a bank and go. My club is fishing it too but I am not going because I hate crowds, although if you need a partner.....

Probably just where I took the temp! Weather has been warm the last couple days so 50 or more may be in reach right now!

It's suppose to start raining today and not stop through the weekend and turning colder friday!

ABA South was last weekend. The weekend after next is ABA North, and that is non-permitted.

Hey Steve we had 48-49 also last Saturday but most boats were showing 44-45 so I just thought our temp guage was off a bit. It was tough last weekend but fun. We had eight bites for seven fish and were able to cull two. Good luck this weekend!! It will only get better.

Did anyone else see the seal up Coleman last Saturday?

It took 20.7 to win, 15.8 for 2nd and we took 3rd with 15.2. After
that there were three in the 14's, two in the 13's then it went down from there. Big fish was 5.35 and we had second big fish at 4.91. Not a bad day but I am ready for spring!!

THE WEATHER SUCKED, it hailed rained and windy. Our tourney was a 2 day and it was a tough one. The top was 28lbs for 2 days and biggest bass was like 5lbs. Ah we were told we could not fish the canal between the 2 lakes and the marinas. The warmest water I found was 52. Good luck for next weekend for whoever is headed up there.

It's a great little town, Has usually at least 1-3 open restarants going at the same time, you never know which one, Probably the highest meth populations on the coast both manufacturing and use! The bar will be open soon. A city government that is out of there minds most of the time. One Nice Motel and two good campgrounds in town and more out on the highway! It does have one of the best forth or July fireworks displays on the coast, Very good boat launching facility and some great Bass fishing.

Even though the meth problem is bad, House burglaries are more prevelent that getting your boat or truck broken into. The ramp area is very large, lighted and patroled regularly. Actually I have never heard of a breakin at the county ramp!

I had about $350.00 of rods/reels stolen out of the back of my truck as I went into the general store there about 3 years back. My own fault for not puttin them in the rig, and didnt even notice them missing until i got back to salem. Still miss that shimano baitcast combo I lost.
