Nice article Bill. All points of view shown. :applause:

I have two thoughts.
I have multiple power boats which I pay registrations fees on. Which has paid to install and maintain the launch ramps used by the kayak/canoe crowd. I resent them attempting to take over more and more of the river. Don't get me wrong, I like peace & quite as much as the next guy. But keep in mind who pays the bills here. All I ask is that folks consider our side. We expect to motor in/out of the lagoon under gas power, maybe No-Wake is fine but Electric Only isn't. We don't have batteries w/ endless capacity. We have enough trouble getting them to last all day.

Further, I don't want to see non-motorized boaters have to pay boat registration fees, as I have one myself.
But doing this is only going to drive a wedge between boaters. And in my opinion that is NOT good.
What's next, a no-wake zone on the Mult. Channel .... or in/out of Scappose Bay?
Mind your P's & Q's Riverkeepers, or we might just find ourselves of opposite sides of the fence.
And I might just be inclined to support registering my non-motorized boat, just so you have to too.
I've supported your efforts on other issues... you guys do good work, don't hang us out to dry here.
