Too windy for me to troll effectively, unless a wind blown circle can be effective. We tried for a while, but no bites = no fish! We ended up running up the Metolius past Perry South and got out of the wind a little and jigged up a double limit of kokanee on pink and white Gibbs. The kokes were quite a bit bigger than I've caught at LBC. Most of them 13"-14" and fat! Wish the limit was more than 5. It was over pretty quick once we were on them. A fifty fish cooler would have been more fun.

:yeahthat: Those are really nice ones for this early. Five like that sure beats 25 dinks.

Good Job on the fatty Kokanee! Those fish are a lot bigger than the ones in the main lake.

Gotta love trying to fish in the wind tunnels:passout:. Well done on the kokes! Just curious if you were casting at jumpers or sitting over a school vertical jigging?
