hey all- I moved to Oregon 2 1/2 years ago and had been a big bass fisher in MA ponds back east for 5 years or so. I live in Corvallis and didn't find much bass fishing around so I focused on steelhead and trout... but I am itching to get back into bass fishing. I am going to give the freeway lakes a shot at some point next week. I just ordered a bunch of all my favorite bass gear (cant find what I want in the stores here) and am ready to go for those big early spring bass. Anyway, just wanted to say hi. I have been lurking, trying to soak up some confidence in your posts that there are some good bass to be had around here. By the way I fish from a sit on top kayak, which I really like. I did get a pontoon last year for trout and drifting for steelhead and may try that for bass this year, but anyway, if you see a big yellow kayak out there it's me.
