Are there any good places to go fishing around corvallis (lakes or ponds preferably) besides Adair Pond and the big river?

If you type in Benton County Fishing Lakes into a search, there are a few that are located in the corvallis area. I haven't seen any reviews, but if your looking for a new spot, might want to take a trip with all this nice weather we are having in the valley.

If you have a boat I think Green Peter is your best bet.

Green Peter would be almost an hour away as you have to take 34 to lebanon and then go through sweet home and up the other side. Some places I would suggest include teh Alsea River, somewhere like Clemens park for steelhead, the Siletz is farther but produces some nice fish, Ponds near albany at Timberlinn Park are stocked as well as the lake next to the freeway, Sevenmile? The if you head to Sweet Home you have Foster, Green Peter, Quartzville and the Santiam River? PM me if you have any ideas that you want to explore further, Good Luck

EE Wilson pond is located a few miles north of Corvallis on 99w. Fish and game have a facility located there and if I'm not mistaken the lake is often stocked with brooders. I've never fished there but you should be able to go to the fish and game home page for more info.

:agree:with two more to add olalla lake and triangle lake. Olalla lake is west of corvallis, just north of toledo and triangle lake is south of corvallis 40 minutes or so.
