My son and I went to Hagg Lake today and had a great time. It was a little windy but it was worth the chill. Steven got his largest rainbow to date. 16.5 inches. :thisbig: It was caught down by the dam at around 3:30 pm. We were anchored up and he got it on power bait. All the fish we saw caught were about the same size as the one Steven got. Go get'em

nice catch, the water looks good but cold and it only takes a little wind to get it realy cold, My son has allways had the best luck out there on a bobber with powerbait.

Has anyone taken a temp?

Water temp was 44.3 in most places. It was a little colder by the dam.

Do you guys mostly anchor all the time or do you troll some as well?

Most of the time we troll, but because the water temp was so cold we decided to still fish.

Once the water warms up to the upper 40's, we do much better trolling.
