PM sent.
Minto Brown Island. There are many ponds with bass, some quite large. If you drive to the end of the road and park, you'll encounter a good sized pond that's very productive. Once, I saw a kid pull out what must have been a four or five pounder. The head and tail hung from the sides of his bike's basket. Also, if you park in the first lot on the right and follow the trail at the far end, keeping to the right when you see forks, you'll end up at a slough where I've slayed them numerous times. It's a little muddy there, so use appropriate footwear. I'd say it's about a ten minute walk.

If you are looking for a good grab, try Mcnaughton's pond. Its a private deal, but the owner John is a good friend of mine. Just let him know I sent you, he'll gladly let you in. Yellow label lizards have produced some roasts for me from time to time. Good luck and let me know how you do.

Couldn't seem to find McNaughton's pond Pete. The had yellow label all over it so I couldn't find the hole. Go figure.
I did go to Mintow Brown several weeks ago, I think I was in the wrong place though. I fished where there is a small dock, was partly submerged at the time. I fished from a tiny sort of peninsula. Is that the area you meant?
