I know some of you out there know when it starts to get good, and how to get at them. the lake itself isn't all that great but i have seen some pics from last year from more than one person that make me wanna give it a go this year. So how bout it kick down the 411 on that sludge pot.

Vancouver lake warms up very fast! I would focus around brunt bride creek. Also around any wood in the water is a good place to try! The flooded tree edges can be good at times.

Not so. Spring is VERY good if you know the very few spots with water depth and wood.
Sorry, can't give spots. They are very few and far in between. But I will tell you, Tex. rigged tubes pegged. around wood. Fish current.

I would not worry about Vancouver Lake itself, no food, little structure, bottom way to soft for spawning fish, ect.... that little 9 mile slough known as Lake River has caught me some monsters. Putting any kind of pattern on these bass is nothing but dumb luck, sometimes you get into them most of the time you don't. If the water was a bit warmer I would love to see a someone fishing the Cabin Fever Classic (march 28th) put on a clinic and take everyone to school.
