Smallies in Foster & Green Peter??

Was taking a break from dragging the kids around Foster last summer and started casting a rooster-tail - Wham! A 12" smallie tore me up! Tried w/out success for another untill the kids begging to tube again made me quit. So was that just a fluke or is there a good population? What's the best techniques? Any in Green Peter? Time of year best? (sorry I ask so many questions)I'm getting cabin fever!

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to your question, too. However, I think you might have a little bit more of a response if you posted this in the Bass and Panfish board instead of the fly fishing board. Just a thought.
