Hey gang, I will not be drifting any rivers anytime soon. It seems that 1 week ago I suffered a stress fracture in my L forearm!
It'd been sore for a while and I finally listened to my wife and got X-rays...Yup. Small fracture.
I am in a splint for 6 weeks. I was told to not row my DB for that time :depressed:
I want to have my arm all heald up for opening weekend (trout) in April.
So for now, bankie bank bank

AA,
I am sometimes open on Fridays or Saturdays to fish. Throw in an occassional Tuesday there as well. I like to do the Sandy a lot, but am up for learning new water. Let me know if you are interested. I have a two man pontoon and would not mind the company. I am open next Friday, 14th. That sounds a bit spooky. FM

Sorry to hear about the injury. It is not fun being down..I know I have been down pretty much since mid december with pneumonia and then the flu.
Get well soon.

I really feel for you. Just had my new pontoon boat out 3 or 4 times and I fell off a ladder. graemlins/dork.gif Left shoulder is messed up. I don't want to keep aggravating it even though my head says it is feeling well enough. The last 3 weeks has been on the beach!

I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with severe symptoms for too long. I am doing better but, I still cant tie small flies, hooks and lines like I want too. Rest is very important for any recovery. At first I thought the ice was not doing anything and sometimes was irritating, but after many sleepless nights it slowly became a friend.
