I had the privilege to fish with Mad Mikey again, on the sandy. He took me to a secret little spot, so I thought I would divulge it to everyone on the ifish board(just kidding Mikey). I went 2 for 2(1 25" and one 27" hatchery) :dance: and Mikey got no love :mad: . I would like to say that it was due to my deft angling skills, but I managed to get both fish in two casts. That translates to purely dumb luck of finding the only two biters of the morning. It is always a pleasure to fish with someone like Mikey, especially since he is so knowledgeable about the area. I can't wait to pick his pockets about his favorite Deschutes runs this coming summer. :tongue:
