Just wanted to pass along what was posted on a weather forum I hang at talking about nerdy weather stuff was very good source. Watch your backs.
"Warning to anyone who fishes Mt. Hood Pond
I was fishing there around dusk. I was fishing by myself when approached by a teenager. He was begging for money, I told him I didn't have any and asked him to move so I could cast. I had a very bad feeling about this gentlemen as he was trying to keep me isolated from the other fisherman and I am fairly certain that he was going to try to rob me. I am disabled and the only self defense I had was my filet knife. Luckily he gave me just enough room to get to Kane Rd. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE! I will be sticking to the ponds on the West side of town especially in the evening! So if you fish this spot be careful and if your going to fish it around dusk make sure you aren't by yourself. The sad thing is in less than a month it turns to 17 & under only"
