Fished the Crooked today

The fishing is as hot as it gets. fished for 3 hours and landed upwards of 40 fish.Nothing huge, but a handful went 16 or so. Overall a great day!! Also, i believe Westfly is in Pville this weekend, saw a welcome sign for them at a motel here in town! Good luck out there!!

Wow sounds like a great day SK, not that I will be heading over there, but what were they hitting on? I found orange to be a very good color for the Crooked just below the dam.

Cutter, if you nymph it, orange is a good color, either in a scud or Tied down caddis(which i like better). But i usually use dries, my go to fly is a Griffiths gnat or a tan or olive elk hair caddis! Used the caddis in the faster water and the gnat in frog water. both caught equal fish id say!
