sounds like the fuel pump is shot ...
You are opening the vent on the tank I assume ...
And you replaced the quick connections on the tank end of the fuel supply hose ,
and the motor end ...
And put a new fuel pickup in the tank or checked the screen for debris ...
yes i did all that the only things i could think of is something being stuck b/c it sat for 3 years i changed the lower end oil and all taht. where is the fule pump i think its an 80's or something just form looking at other pic of peoples 80's

Just follow the fuel line and it will show you witch side of the engine its on ...
I want to say starboard side ... But I am not sure ...

Make sure fuel line bulb is good before changing fuel pump. Just because its new doesnt necessrily mean its good! Ask me how I know! lol

I would say bulb or a pin hole in the fuel line. Also maybe check to see if the vent is open on your tank to prevent vapor lock

I started having the same issues last year and took my engine in for repairs. I had leaks in the lines around the filter, but the thing I didn't realize was my plunger was cracked. According to the repairman it was allowing raw fuel into my cylinder causing many of my issues.
hmm maybe ill take it in we seem to have now prb when we keep pumping it every min and a half or so. so i think it might be the fuel pump ill try that next it like 10 bucks for a new one.
