Just wondering what oil everyone is running in their inboards , jets and props... Not much feedback on ifish community post ...
Thinking of going 30 wt synthetic but I am not sure soooo...
I am putting the question to the panel of experts ...

I run Mobile 1 in my gas engines. In my 8.1L Kodiak (when I had it) I ran 5-30. 10-30 in the T-8. Probably will run Synthetic Shell Rotella T 15-40 in the Yanmar when it's due for an oil change.
I've been using Mobile 1 in my rigs for years with good results. :twocents:
I put Rotella T Synthetic in everything. It is a 5-40 oil. Regular Rotella T is a 15-40 oil. This goes in the diesel VW, boat V8, Expy, and all garden equip.

3.0 OMC Stern drive. Manufacturer recommends 10w/40, I run 10w/40. Synthetics are great for added protection when you put allot of hours on engines. I might get 60 hrs a year on mine anymore and I like to change it to get all the nasty stuff out.
