So I fish this pond down here and grants pass... And I've been out every day the past 2 weekends... Last week it was really low than we had a shot of rain which brought it up and colored it... I've only gotten one or two known bites... I've used senkos, spinnerbaits, tubes, jigs, and tried some other things... I've been working it slow... Hitting every pocket in every hole and nothing. And have only seen one bass come out... About 2 pounds.

I never usually fish this early.. Usually wait til the end of march but decided to start early this year...

Am I fishing wrong?! Or am I doing it right? Any tips?

Thanks
Greg

Reaction baits are good. You can fish senko's but fish them SLOW. lipless cranks, maybe slow roll a colorado blade spinnerbait. Water is COLD now.

You may be doing everything right! I would suggest swimming and bouncing a jig, or tube around cover! I have done well drop shotting a wacky senko, keeping it pulsating off the bottom! Stick in there the water will warm faster down south so by mid March you should be able to stick limits!

Yea I noticed that after I gave up today and was floating a worm for trout and the worm was freezing! I lost nearly all my spinnerbaits on trees today so that sucked. I have some lipless cranks so I'll take those with me next time!

Try VERY slow dragging a jig or senko stop and shake lightly from time to time.
Good luck!
