what oil ?

getting my 150 and t-8 yamahas ready for spring fishing
what oil is recomended automotive or stick with yamaha
oil, I kept the fuel tank full all winter added stabil, should
I replace fuel seperator and filter also, never had ethonol
fuel added always fill at airport or nelsons in salem, anyone
put any oil additives in?

I bought mine at Y-Marine. They had bulk 10/30 Havoline in their shop. That's what I use. I do change my seperator every spring,change lower unit oil,plugs and grease prop shaft.

No additives, use the weight recommended by the factory. I wouldn't worry about which brand of oil, as long as you follows the manufacturers recommendations it will work just fine.

I use Chevron Supreme 10w-30 in my F150 and T8.

Buy the Yamalube and you won't have to worry if you did the right thing or not ...:twocents:
Change your water separating filter at least once a year ...
