I have a 2006 Merc 9.9 bigfoot. The prop is a 10x7 . I would like to slow it down with a new prop. Is this possible? Plus I need it shipped to eastern oregon. Any suggestions where to buy?

Just so happens I have the prop of my 2002 9.9 Bigfoot sitting right next to me. I have the same problem and have done a little reseach.
It is possible to put a less aggressive prop on it. The cheapest I have found has been on-line. Can't post where though. PM me if you want. But before I pull the trigger on that I'm taking it to Portland tomorrow and gonna do some checking there.

Any of the prop repair shops will reduce the pitch for you.
I use Independant Marine Propellor under the St.johns bridge. I think the charge for reducing the pitch on my Honda 8 prop was about $30.
Lots of other folks use Ampro in SE Portland.
Both are good places to know about when you need props or skags repaired too.
