Coming fronm BC canada, I do mostly lake and river flyfishing althoughI hope one day in the near future I can try FF in the ocean as well.

BC's a big place, do you ever fish inland, such as the Elk River? Or up on the divide in the drainages accessed by the Forestry Trunk Road?

fished Peter Hope lake once and not planning to come back in the near future :wink: The lake is MOODY even for the local experts. I heard there are some good size trout there but for me to drive more than 4 hours to a lake to test the fish mood doesn't make sense. Some may call It's a challenge but for me It's simply unpractical :grin:
There are many lakes in that area can produce the same size of fish more consistant.
As for Elk river. I've heard good things about It and been planning to visit but havn't got a chance Beside the Carriboo, Chilcotin lakes got the best of me in early Spring and summer.
