Saturday I headed over to Eugene for a wedding. On the way home I stopped by a few places to fly fish. Stopped at the rest area at Oakridge and fished for 0.5 hours. Caught a nice 10 inch fish on a light Cahill and missed another on a caddis. The water just looks like it should hold some nice fish. Next stops were Odell creek and Crescent creek. Odell is catch and release only. I released all the 4 inch fish I caught. The creek moves fast and the brush and fallen trees made walking the bank a chore. Did not fish Crescent because the fish I saw rise were as small as at Odell creek. It was fun to explore for a few hours.
