Hi All, this is my first time posting on ifish.net, i have been visiting here for about a year now and have picked up some great stuff off the main board. Now it has a fly fishing board and fly fishing is what i love to do i thought it was time to register. A little bit about my self  I was born in Wales and started fishing back there for trout and salmon when i was about 10 years old. Learnt how to fly fish within a couple of years and have stuck with it ever since. Came to the U.S. back in 85 and moved to Oregon a couple of years later. I now live in Central Oregon and i guide on the Deschutes river, I have been fishing on the Deschutes for over 12 years now and have owned my own guide buisness for the last three years. Befiore that i guided for a local shop. I am here to learn and have fun like every one else.A big thankyou to Jennie for reactivating my screen name after i messed up with registration. I am looking forward to learning and sharing ideas in the flyfishing world, Its good to be here  , tight lines, brian

Welcome aboard Brian.

Look forward to hearing some good fishing stories being you are on the water more than most of us.

Hi Gizmo Man, yes i agree with you there are a lot of good folks on this board. I like to fish Davis and Hosmer here in Central Oregon. I have fished a lot of the lakes here but i find myself coming back to those two. I have not fished Davis lake since it got quite low last year, i drove up to it last week and it is still low so i will leave it alone for now. Hosmer is now open and fishing quite good right now, i like Hosmer, its a fun place to fish. I here Craine is real slow right now, but hopefully that will change soon.
FallRiverGuy, i will swop you info on the Deschutes for info on the Fall River  . The salmon flies are all over the warmsprings to troutcreek drift right now,you know what i mean, landing on you, crawling all over you and going down the back of your shirt  . You should pick up some nice fish casting up under the overhanging trees, As you drift down towards Maupin the bugs are begining to go away but the trout are still hitting on them. When the wind is blowing( like it does every afternoon on the D) try a Bullethead Salmon Fly, they work really well  . Tight lines, brian
