Looking for some one who can do a custom in the floor fish box/storage. I've got a 19' NR Scout. Not sure if I want a diamond plate hatch or to utilize the exsiting flooring piece that would be cut out. Just want more storage as usual. And there has to be a ton of wasted space under there minus some wiring and a fuel tank.

Thanks
Matt

There are a lot of good shops in the Portland area. Open a phone book.
OR call the NR store you got your scout from. I bet they would help you
out. there hurting too, they are looking for work just like everyone else is.
Start there first. That is where I would start.!!!

I know there are no doubt shops closer to you than Eugene, but Joe Koffler of Koffler Boats has done a lot of work on my Weldcraft. I've always been really happy with what he's done.

Please post an update when you get this done. I need to do this to my boat also.

I've gotten a lot of custom stuff from Joe Koffler, and I live in Montana. He's about the nicest guy in the world to do business with, and everything I've ever received from him is absolutely top notch. I used to have a Koffler drift boat and currently run an Alumaweld Super Vee Pro. Joe has built things for both boats. I'm going to mock up an electronics cabinet out of plywood and send it to him to build out of aluminum. He's never had a moments hesitation in any custom request I've made and always has good suggestions.....I guarantee you won't be sorry if you do business with Kofflers.

I'd second the Motion Marine suggestion. Take your idea to them and they will do a great job. They will know what kind of room you have to work with under those floorboards.

Motion Marine in West Linn!

We had them fix several things on the '03 Alexis Classic Thunder Jet we had.

We now go boating in an '07 Motion Marine 22'. Their work is detailed quality. Our boat is a work of art. I like they are a local business for me.

Bought a new Miller Marine anchor nest at the Sportsman show and will have them put it on in a few days.

Give them a call when you need something done on your boat.

I've had nothing but great experiences with the folks at Koffler. They do great work and will build just about anything you want.

Here's a couple examples of their work that I lifted off a boat ad:

If heading to Eugene is too far, shoot ifish member Ragnar a PM. He does beautiful work and I think he's in the Vancouver area.
