I have been able to fish Barns Butte in the past and I just wanted to see if anyone had fished over there lately? And what flies worked good for you? There are some really big fish in that Lake! :smile:

Phil, fished Barnes Butte on last day of March with a group from the Corvallis/Albany area. Fishing was good for rainbows between 18 and 22 inches. We did not see the midge hatch we usually experience at this time of the year. Best flies where the smaller (14 & 16) pheasant tail and hare ears flash backs. Also like a Prince nymph.
