I have a friend who will lend me his trolling motor. I have a 16ft. wood driftboat. The shaft can be adjusted from 30-35 inches. The handle is about 8 inches long. Is the shaft going to be long enough and could someone tell me if there is anyway to lengthen the handle so i can steer from the rowers seat. I will only use it to putt around on Crane Prarie a few times this summer. For that little time could'nt i just squat in the back of the driftboat a putt out and back?
