Am I right in reading the synopsis that all streams not listed in the willamette zone open late may and are restricted to artificials only?..
Also, have any of y'all fished Gales Creek in the past? Used to wade it as a kid and throw small hare's ears and black bead heads with decent success..was wondering how it's been holding up.

Exactly. May 25th. Don't forget it's catch and release though.

Gales creek still does produce fish. Even a decent run of steelhead. Its worth a shot. You do catch lots of steelhead smolt though, so be careful in releasing your fish. Good luck. :grin:

Hmm, I was sure I had heard somewhere that Gales Creek was closed to all angling. But now I can't remember where I had heard that. It's been a long week. :cheers:
