Chernobyl Ants?

I overcame many years of skepticism about this bizarre pattern and found it to be a top producer on the Donner und Blitzen river in far SE Oregon.

Has anyone tried it on other rivers?

I can imagine coastal cutts really going after it at times. Any reports?

Man does that look like a killer salmonfly fly! :shocked: Not only that it looks even I could tie about 100/h.

Ya Corkie Monster I have been known to fish Fall River here in Central Oregon. Here is pic of a fish my daughter caught on Fall River

Hello everybody, I'm the new guy in town. Never fished the chernobyl ants. Though I have had great luck with straight black ants in lakes. Last year I had a 50 fish day on Lost Lake with a slowly trolled black ant in my float tube. :smile: tightlines
