Fly Fishing Show???

So there’s a fly fishing show at the Convention center yesterday and today.

Did anyone go?

If so, how was it?

I think I am going today. NOt sure though. I heard there is no one of interest there.

I went yesterday. A complete disappointment.
There were only three rows of booths, about 40 total. TFO was the only rod company there. Lots of resorts were represented, but that's not what I had hoped to see. Was looking for displays of the latest rods, lines, reels, etc.

The fly tiers had some good demos going on, and there were a few interesting seminars. But for $15 entrance and $8 parking forget it. I won't be back.

I was there both days. I agree it was a disappointment compared to two years ago. Because of the cancellation last year, many suppliers/manufacturers were a no show this year.

I enjoyed the seminars. Several real good ones. The seminars by Dave Ames, Dave Hughes and Tom Larimer as an example, were outstanding.

I love fishing/flyfishing shows. because when they're going on, I can fish uncrowded waters.
