I was sitting down the other day for a minute...reading my fishing journal...and came across an entry from three years ago dated February 4, 2005...

Wilson River 3.93 ft
Hard, steady rain, little color
Using a white jig with a black sparkle worm.

Steelhead hooked...6
Landed...3
Released...2
Largest...16-pounds
Fish Kept...1

The morning started out with steady rain and wind. The sweet hole was in great shape. I got one quick fish that I lost after a couple seconds drift fishing the black worm. Before I left I guy named Jeff came down. He hooked 6 landed 3 at the beautful hole. I went there next and at first I hooked but lost one deep in the tailout on white jig with a black worm. A while later using the same rig about ten feet deep I hooked and landed a BIG broodstock around 16-pounds. Next cast with a pink worm I landed a 10-pound native. Lost another in the middle. Next was jewel hole...nothing. Mile 10 hole...nothing. Next at the georgous hole first cast with a bead shrimp tail fish on...nice 10-pound native. In the afternoon the rain turned to showers.
