Kalama???

I wont be back in SW Washington until late March and will probably be fishing the Kalama for several days.

I was wondering what kinds of changes happened to the river after the floods in January? Any significant changes to some of the better fly water between Pritchards and Modrow? Navigational hazards?

The water below the beginners hole but above the take out change a lot. The road is washed out at Summers ck. But for the most part it seamed to hold its own.

I have drifted the river several times since the flood and have seen a lot of changes. You might notice there is a little less Mahaffey's campground when you are back. The beginner hole if all messed up now.

Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it. Looks like I will have to re learn the lower river. Oh well, that can be fun.
