I met Scott last summer and he seemed like a nice guy. Helped me with my casting and taught me a few things about skagit fshing :D. Haven't been on a trip with him though.

I would recommend Mike McCune. He, along with Scott O'Donnell and Ed Ward, created and continues to refine the Skagit technique for two handed rods.
Mike is an expert when it comes to fishing the spey rod for winter steelhead and he does work the Nehalem.
