Oxbow Park CLOSED

Thought I would let y'all know that Oxbow Park and the boat ramp at Dabney were closed today. They are using equipment to clear sediment off the road in Oxbow from the flood. I did not know any of this when I went to float today.

Also, although water levels declined at a screaming rate, the water was still pretty muddy. I don't think it would have been good for fly fishing.

I know Oxbow is closed guys but some of the best winter steelhead days I have had are in high water. Just think right next to the bank in areas that they can sit. This is good onlywhen the water isn't running as chocolate milk.

FYI - there is a post on the main board but I was at Oxbow yesterday and, yes, it is open (as well as the launch). They have also cleared the ramp at Dabney.
